High performance computing is providing new precision in electrical interfaces with the human brain, including both time dynamic measurement and manipulation of ongoing electrical brain activity. The improved understanding of human neural architectures is allowing insights into the improved design of artificial intelligence. It is now possible to envision hybrid architectures, in which dynamic human brain activity is interpreted with individual neuromorphic AI to allow two-way communication.
We develop solutions with high performance computing in mind, taking advantage of the parallel computing power of our ICONIC grid and using a variety of technologies including Globus, MPI, and OpenMP. We are currently working with grid technologies to enable us to provide modular, high-performance computing resources to scientists world wide.
